What is the most important thing about life, about being a human being? What is the most important thing you can think of in this world? Whatever it is, make sure you teach your kids about it...
1 Corinthians 13... Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity,(LOVE) I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity,(LOVE) I am nothing.
3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity,(LOVE) it profiteth me nothing.
4Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8Charity (LOVE) never faileth:
but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
"Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding... He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength…they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."From the book of Isaiah, Chapter 40

A note for you...
The Alpha Omega Adventure Academy is what I named our homeschooling endeavor. It's a personal name I used to keep me on an educational focus as we went through everyday family life. It is so named because Alpha and Omega refers to Jesus, my Lord and Savior, and "Adventure Academy" because t I knew learning and especially learning at home would be an adventure for us all.
After four kids and a lot of years of learning adventures, I have accumulated a lot of learning material that we have used. I am working to compile some activities we did from notes I have kept through the years, and will be posting it here for others, hoping they will be inspired not only to spend time with their kids and even feel adventurous enough to embark on learning adventures of their own, but to do so to the glory of God.
How about this: LOVE.
